The Rexburg Free Clinic opened its doors to the public in May of 2019. It came as the result of 2 years of work on behalf of numerous figures in the Rexburg medical community.
The Clinic’s founders, Dr. Andrew Bradbury (MD) and Greg Klinger, noticed that many in the Rexburg area lack adequate health insurance and are left without many healthcare options. It was their idea to establish a resource within the community that provided a solution to this problem.
Kaitlyn Kidd, executive chief director of the Rexburg Free Clinic, explains that the vision Dr. Bradbury and Greg Klinger had for the clinic was inspired by their belief in self-reliance.
“The solution is here locally, not in Boise and not in Washington. It will be “Neighbors helping neighbors,” she said.
In the years since its opening, the Rexburg Free Clinic has provided people in the community with healthcare appointments completely free of charge. This is made possible through the generous donation of time and services by local doctors and healthcare professionals. Equipment is also provided through donations.
